Exchange students can only enroll in undergraduate courses offered in the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Management. NOTE: Dual-Degree Teacher Program and other special programs are NOT offered to exchange students. IMPORTANT ADVICE: Exchange students must remain flexible as USF courses are never guaranteed due to unmet prerequisites, over-capacity, time conflicts and class cancellations. Some programs such as Kinesiology may be impacted and become unavailable to exchange students. Exchange students will be assigned a USF Academic Advisor who will assist with class registration and all academic issues throughout their time at USF.
On-Campus housing descriptions and application information can be found here: http://www.usfca.edu/residence_life/
Exchange students cannot complete the USFrooms online housing application until they have been assigned their USF ID and username. A $300 USD housing deposit is required. Housing assignments will be based on availability and according to student’s age since there are residence halls reserved for students who are 21 years or older.
Exchange students can opt out of on-campus housing if they intend to live with relatives in the area or are able to secure their own independent housing far in advance.
